[link] and all around decent fellow indulged me during his wonderful "domestic meme" on his blog and I had promised in exchange (wanted to shamelessly pander to him) a pony sketch. He said "Pink and Purple are good colours that go together. I'm just sayin'." Somehow that inexplicably led to a Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle shipping pic because he had been pushing this couple all over his blog for the past several weeks.
Anyways I could go on about the flaws in this, but it was a "sketch" (though I probably spent more time on the line work than the word 'sketch' indicates) and essentially a practice for me to get better acquainted with My Paint. The colour's pretty much done up in the marker tools on Set #2, though I admit I was sloppy about it.
As for what Pinkie is singing, it's "Another Day" by Jamie Lidell
